Our needle thrust bearings feature a formed cage that reliably retains and guides 16 needle rollers. These bearings are designed to constrain the thrust loads axially on shaft assemblies. The service life of the bearings is maximized by slightly relieving the roller ends to modify the line contact between the raceway and rollers. This design change prevents stress peaks.
Set of 2 washers and 1 caged needle thrust bearing.
Where Would I Use These?
- Put these between the bearing block and a shaft collar on a ballscrew to prevent axial loads from reaching the motor shaft. This enhances the life of the motor and also prevents backlash in the system.
