This rail can be used on the X or Y Axis on a fixed or moving gantry machine. When designing an axis around these rails, Fine Line Automation advises that they be used either single or in pairs. They are perfect for a overhead moving gantry.

This rail provides a 52” cutting length when used with the Extended Linear Carriages. The rail is 4” wide, .25” in depth, and made of 1018 cold rolled steel flat stock. There is no finish on the rail, so it is recommended they get a light coating of oil from time to time.
