SPDT limit switch for preventing CNC Axis overrun. The switch has a mechanical lever and leads for both normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO) states. The Gecko G540 requires you use the normally closed contacts, and it is good machine design regardless because the limit switch will trip if it or a wire breaks. These switches are reliable and easy to set up and are a fantastic way to protect from overtravel or automate a homing procedure.
